Gas Hoses

We manufacture assembled hoses for the gas industry and for other companies which provide gas equipment worldwide. Hoses and fittings are optimized to fulfill the various quality standards that are necessary to meet the security levels within the gas industry.

Our assembled hoses are based on an inner tubing with a very low diffusion coefficient and with very good temperature resistance. The hoses are easily handled and have a longer service life than hoses manufactured of rubber or metal. The high pressure hoses have an inner core of PTFE, PFA or ETFE, that is covered with one or two layers of stainless steel wire and for some hoses a multi-braid of Kevlar® and stainless steel. Hoses with an inner tube of PTFE are also available as fully antistatic or with an antistatic inner layer. To ensure the highest possible quality of our hoses we produce both the inner tubing and the braid in-house. We supply gas hoses assembled with fittings or in bulk on drums.

Pressure test

Every assembled hose manufactured by us is pressure tested at two times the working pressure, and all our gas hoses are manufactured according to ISO 7751. Hence the burst pressure should be at least four times the working pressure. All our assembled hoses are treated as oxygen hoses, which means that they are washed and degreased before delivery.

Some recommendations when buying our hoses

Assembled high pressure gas hoses are manufactured with our Heavy Duty range. Standard sizes for these hoses are: ID: 6.5 mm (1/4”) or ID: 10 mm (3/8”). Single braid, ID: 6.5 mm, is suitable for working pressures up to 200 bar, Double braid, ID: 6.5 mm, can be used up to 300 bar. We also have a premium product, ULTRA, which can be used up to 415 bar. Read more about our Heavy Duty range and ULTRA hoses here or in the data sheets below.

Additional protection

We also manufacture hoses with a protecting layer of Hytrel® (thermoplastic polyester elastomer). This layer is a mechanical protection and can serve as a colour identifier. As an extra safety feature we can add an optional safety wire. This wire prevents the hose from whipping in case of an incident or failure.
